Coming home

We decided to head home Wednesday afternoon, because Katrina was feeling pretty good, and we were looking forward to being together as a family. So we bundled Sally up and put her in one of her new prams (which took Tim about 10 min in the carpark to figure out how to unfold) and started wheeling her out. While Katrina was feeling reasonably well, the very slow walk from the ward to the front doors was far more demanding that she'd thought. Ever since then she's been tired and sore. A good reminder to keep taking it easy and keep up with the painkillers too! Tim has been a trooper, and Katrina is getting better at not feeling bad about asking him to do literally EVERYTHING.

As a fellow c-sectioner, learn from my experience: you can get other people to do EVERYTHING for the first 6 weeks!! Take advantage of it - I didn't, and now I realise you never get it so good ever again....

G'day Guys,
Congratulations. Sally is gorgeous.
Don't worry Tim, I'm sure the prams operation will become easier with time.
