New House
Here is the kitchen. The girls are learning that if you go around it through the loungeroom you can get from one end to the other with out going into the actual kitchen, which is something that we are keen to maintain.
Here is the back yard (the swings are now up). It's a good size with a little veggie patch ready to go in the back corner. It seems to be a bit of a swamp when it rains; which it's done every day since we moved in so the girls' gum boots are getting a work out.
Here is Annika sitting up at the bench and very proud of sitting on a stool. Sal is busy in her own kitchen.

Swimming Lessons
Sally began this term's swimming lessons by graduating to the 'no mums' class. We had lots of conversations beforehand about how mum wouldn't be in the water with her, but would sit on the edge and talk to the other mums. She was very excited and after about 30 seconds of shy reluctance she got right into it. I was very proud!
Jesus is Alive!
It's a bit late, but Happy Easter, everybody! Easter seemed kind of busy, actually. We wanted to spend it with people from church, and we did. It was a very full social time, and a little tiring. Good thing the Uni break is next week, so Tim can catch his breath a little.
Sally had a little basket of eggs from mothers' group, and we rationed her eggs. (Not that we rationed ours, but that's another story.) We had a Jesus is Alive party on the Sunday after church, complete with Resurrection cake. See the empty tomb? :-)
And more stuff...
We spent a lovely morning at the Strand having a go with Lloyd and Wendy's kite. Unfortunately there wasn't much wind. We'll have to go another day.
Sally and Tim playing Bob the Builder after bath-time. Isn't it obvious? They're wearing helmets, after all.
We had a tree planting morning in our street. The council donated the trees if we did the work of putting them in the ground. The deputy mayor lives locally and came to help us (and do a bit of PR). Sal has named our tree 'Yellow' and is keen to water it every day.
Stuff we've been doing...
Tim trying out his costume for a twinkles and sparkles party.
Annika enjoying a bean.
And a banana. Boy can this girl eat. She usually downs twice as much dinner as Sally.
Sally at the park in an international outfit. Thanks Deb for the shirt from Hawaii and Grandma and Grandpa from Wagga Wagga for the shorts from Kenya!
