Some stuff we've been doing...
Here are some images of things we've been doing. Some time ago now we dug out all the baby toys and gave them a wash in the backyard. It was a good job for Sally to do.
Sally did an entirely flukey poo in the potty and got the long ago promised lollipop from Grandma R if such an event ever occurred. Needless to say it hasn't happened again, though we did have a wee the other day. Time to start this toilet training business in earnest, we reckon.
Swimming weather is well and truly here, and Sally has new swimmers to celebrate! We try and get the beach when we can. Stinger season doesn't start till December, and lasts till May so this is the time of the year to go! Annika was a little underwhelmed by the whole thing.

The big party!
Sally had a party to celebrate her birthday today. We had lunch in the park, and the chocolate turtle cake (made entirely by Tim) was a huge hit (despite the fact that we wouldn't let her have it for breakfast). Occasionally she seemed a little overwhelmed but generally had a good time. We were glad to give her some special attention before Squirt arrives!
Sally's 2nd birthday
So we know it's been a long time, but we thought that Sally's second birthday was an event worth blogging about! Here are some pictures of her enjoying her presents first thing in the morning. She loved her toy kitchen, plastic food, her stroller, and her Elmo couch, and all the rest. She thought it was hilarious to be hidden inside the couch...

Sunny England
Turns out England was a fair bit cooler than Italy. After 2 days in Surrey (thanks Saers!) we spent nearly a week in London. Yes, that is a dead boar (note the blood dripping from its nose) and Sally was a bit bored by the British Museum. But she loved the trains and buses, and the dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum.
We were so grateful to stay with our friend Brenda. It made our trip so much easier and less stressful. She gave us great advice on public transport and shopping, and even cooked us wonderful things like brownies and mince pies. Unfortunately, Sally was only interested in vegemite sandwiches. Luckily we had a plentiful supply.

Roma
Not having your own computer on holidays means we aren't as speedy with blog updates as we might like. But here are some photos from our days in Rome. It was amazing to see things we'd only read about in books, and heaps of fun to hang out with Ben, Kate and Caleb. Sally and Caleb loved having a playmate.
